pencil sketch – sleeping beauty

I had an image in my head of the fairy tale princess sleeping on a bed of her own hair so I did this quick pencil sketch of the pose and hair position. It was probably inspired by some of the illustrations I’ve seen for Sleeping Beauty, Charles Perrault’s “La Belle au Bois dormant” (1697).
