pencil sketch – pose

Pencil sketch of the fairy tale princess done mostly for the pose, but also proportions. Though she’s motionless, I’ve been told she looks athletic. Not sure how I managed that. I like the unimpressed look on her face in this one.

“How can she be a fairy tale princess if she isn’t wearing a puffy gown?” you may ask. Well, this sketch is for the part of her story when she’s “out of her element”, so to speak. Hence the messy, practical hair style.
