I absolutely love these drawings of her. I honestly prefer the sketches. They are magnificent! I try to draw her but i just can’t get it. You capture her beautifully though.
The eye is usually drawn to color and it’s nice when people appreciate sketches; not everyone notices pencil work over color. I think it’s a sign of artistic discernment.
I live in Brazil and host a community outreach to girls in my neighborhood called “Princess Time” I would like to use your pencil sketch on the invitation however I understand your work is copyrighted and I do want to respect that. I really like your drawing because it communicates that this “Princess Time” is not just for “little girls” but for young women of all ages. Could you let me know if it is ok for me to use your drawing? Thank you!
Oh, my goodness! I’m so sorry this got lost in the shuffle for so long!
It sounds like you are doing wonderful things there in Brazil, Bethany. Thank you for your kind compliment and respect for copyright. For a non-profit event such as you have described, I would be happy to allow the use of my sketch but would appreciate credit, such as my name or site.
Again, I apologize for being so very late in responding, and I assume it’s too late for that particular event, but hopefully it will work out for a future one.
